Learn More
The EnowAgbor Foundation is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive, environmentally sustainable, and just society in Cameroon by empowering women, girls, youth, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and other vulnerable groups who face daily social and economic challenges. Through hands-on education programmes, mobile healthcare outreach, small-business support, and practical community environmental initiatives, the Foundation works to restore dignity, create real opportunities, and strengthen resilience among people affected by poverty, conflict, and displacement.
The Foundation promotes girls’ education by providing school fees, learning materials, mentorship clubs, and safe-space programmes for rural and urban communities. It also provides vocational training programs for women and young girls in Cameroon focus on building practical skills that provide real pathways to income, independence, and long-term stability. These programs include dressmaking and fashion design, hairdressing, cosmetology, branding and creative crafts, catering, yoghurt production, and home-based food processing, skills that many women can easily turn into sustainable small businesses. Women and girls are also trained in ICT and digital literacy to help them compete in today’s job market. Additionally, training in plantain multiplication, snail farming, poultry management, and other modern agricultural techniques empowers women to engage confidently in agribusiness and increase household income.
To support IDPs and vulnerable families, the Foundation offers psychosocial counselling, emergency food and hygiene supplies, community health screenings, and assistance in rebuilding livelihoods through small grants and training. Its environmental sustainability work includes tree-planting in schools and communities, training farmers in climate-smart agriculture, organising clean-up campaigns in towns and markets, and teaching households simple waste-sorting and composting techniques.
By addressing urgent needs while developing long-term skills and environmental awareness, the EnowAgbor Foundation helps reduce inequalities, enhance climate resilience, and foster healthier, more sustainable communities across Cameroon
